Animal and rescuer reunion is one of the sweetest things you’ll ever see on the internet. There’s an amazing feeling that can be felt when you see a rescued animal come up to their rescuer with enthusiasm. In the video, you’re going to watch you’ll see a firefighter greet a sick puppy he once rescued from abuse.
The firefighter is Mike Thawley, and he rescued a pit bull puppy. In the video, he went to the animal shelter to check on the condition of the puppy. Fortunately, the dog is now in a better condition than when he found it.
Mike works at a fire station in Sacramento, California. He discovered the sick puppy tied up while it was raining. He did the right thing and saved the poor girl. After cleaning up the dog, Mike brought the puppy to the Front Street Animal Shelter. The dog needed medical attention, and a guy like Mike knows exactly where to bring the dog.
The day after rescuing the dog Mike visited the shelter. This is why the puppy doesn’t seem fully recovered yet. The dog still needs to regrow some lost hair. Mike picked a perfect name for the dog; it’s Chunkie.
Chunkie recognizes her rescuer and wags her tail with excitement. During their meeting, the firefighter put Chunkie in a cute pink sweater. Since her fur is not fully recovered, she needs added protection from the temperature. Soon she will grow a new set of fur to keep herself warm.
Rescuing the dog wasn’t Mike’s only good deed. He and his family also took care of Chunkie as foster parents while she is undergoing medical treatment. Mike’s family agreed on taking care of the dog, and everyone fell in love with the cute little pit bull. Hopefully, Chunkie grows to be a wonderful pit bull.
